Job summary

Homestead of Ottawa is seeking a reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for weekend overnight shifts in Ottawa, Kansas (Fri, Sat & Sun, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.).

You will work under a licensed nurse to support residents' health, safety and well-being, administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and document care accurately. Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing with Kansas
• Must be dependable and able to work Fri-Sun 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Compassionate and respectful care for older adults
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Administering medications in accordance with established procedures
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Accurately documenting medications and care provided

Homestead of Ottawa is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team for our weekend overnight shift.

What You'll Do

As a CMA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and play an important role in supporting the health, safety and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Administering medications in accordance with established procedures
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Accurately documenting medications and care provided
• Responding to resident needs throughout the overnight shift
