Job Description:

To perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the residents.

Qualifications for the CNA:

1. Must Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or training to satisfactorily complete the requirements, or be in training to meet these requirements according to state and federal guidelines.
2. Must be 18 years of age.
3. Completion of high school or GED equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to read, write, and follow oral commands in English.
4. Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course.
5. Positive attitude toward elderly.
6. Must be eligible for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law enforcement.
