Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans. You will work under supervision to support ADLs, mobility, grooming, dining, and personal care, while adhering to infection control standards and reporting changes promptly.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork with interdisciplinary staff, and adherence to Illinois CNA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have current and active nursing aide certification in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Position, move, and provide restorative care as directed.
• Provide grooming, dining assistance, and personal care.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, and toileting.
• Support infection control and prevention practices.
• Assist with nutrition and elimination needs.
• Provide comfort and end-of-life care as appropriate.
• Respond promptly to call lights and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document changes and care activities clearly in records.
• Collaborate with all facility disciplines to ensure team-based care.

The primary purpose of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Duties

• Resident centered care oriented including assistance with activities of daily living such as:
• Positioning, Moving, and Restorative Care.
• Mobility, Toileting, and Bathing.
• Grooming: Oral, Shaving and Nail Care.
• Dining Assistance.
• Dressing and Undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and Elimination.
• Comfort care and End of Life Care.
• Answer call lights timely and promptly.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to your assigned nurse as soon as possible.
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift when they occur.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Be a team player working in coordination with all disciplines in the facility.
