Job summary

Inverness Health and Rehab in Inverness, MS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessments and care plans. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, dining, dressing, and basic comfort measures under the supervision of licensed staff.

The role emphasizes infection control, documentation, teamwork across disciplines, and timely reporting of changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have current and active nursing aide certification in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Resident centered care including assistance with activities of daily living such as positioning, moving and restorative care.
• Mobility, toileting, and bathing.
• Grooming: oral, shaving and nail care.
• Dining assistance.
• Dressing and undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and elimination.
• Comfort care and end of life care.
• Answer call lights timely and promptly.
• Report changes in resident's condition to the assigned nurse promptly.
• Report accidents and incidents observed during shift.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., clearly.
• Be a team player coordinating with all disciplines in the facility.
