Job summary

St. Patrick's Home Rehabilitation and Health Care in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Weekend Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility.

This full-time role covers day, evening, and night shifts with competitive hourly wages and a 10% differential for evenings. You will observe residents, report health issues, assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, and transport within the facility while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current NY State Certification and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bed bath and shaving.
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep space clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

St. Patrick's Home Rehabilitation and Health Care is actively seekingWeekend Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY.

Day shift: $24.30 Evening/Night shift: $26.73 (10% differential)

Duties:

• Available for a full-time position.
• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Requirements:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current NY State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
