Job summary

Gold Crest Care Center, located in the Pelham Gardens area of the Bronx, is actively seeking a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to work weekends, all shifts, for our skilled nursing facility. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living needs.

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff, in a CMS

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with NYS CNA certification.
• Experience assisting patients with daily living activities and mobility.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and communicate with nurses and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including meals and hydration.
• Support personal hygiene: bedpans, baths, shampoos, showers.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs and basic dressings.
• Check vital signs and document in patient charts.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulatory standards.

Gold Crest Care Center, located in the Pelham Gardens area of the Bronx is actively seeking CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to work Weekends, all shifts, for our Skilled Nursing Facility (Nursing and Rehab Center).

We are looking for a skilled CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showers
• Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards
