Job summary

Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Syracuse, NY seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our facility. Base pay starts at $20.45 per hour with earning potential up to $25.49 depending on shifts. A 10% differential applies to Evening shifts with a $1 add-on, plus a 10% differential for Overnight shifts and other weekend/no-frills add-ons.

Daily Pay is available through a trusted partner. Responsibilities include observing Residents, reporting health issues, assisting with hygiene,

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CNA program.
• Current New York State CNA certification is required.
• Candidates should be able to work as part of a team.
• Recent CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents.
• Report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily care.
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident data.

Base rate is $20.45. Make up to $25.49 based on shift!
10% Differential + $1.00 add-on - Evening shift
10% Differential - Overnight shift
$1.00 add-on - Any weekend shift
$1.00 add-on - No frills

Duties

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Requirements

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current New York State Certification
• Must have recent CNA experience
• In good standing with State Registry
