Job summary

Healthmark Services, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and provide personal care, mobility assistance, and meal planning for clients in a home setting.

The role involves night shifts (e.g., 10pm-6am or 2pm-10pm) and requires flexibility to work weekends. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment dedicated to high-quality home care.

Qualifications

• One-on-one patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Prior healthcare or home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting with meals and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment preferred, not required.
