Job summary

Mountain Ridge Health and Rehab in Monticello, KY is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide high-quality daily care to residents as part of a dedicated healthcare team. You will support bathing, feeding, dressing and mobility while ensuring comfort and safety on shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a current state CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' individual needs including bathing, feeding, dressing and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with moving/transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
