Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will support persons served with daily living activities, encourage independence, and provide patient-centered care in a home-health oriented environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, range-of-motion exercises, and accompanying clients to appointments, work, and therapy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA certification required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, bend, and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and assists clients with daily living activities.
• Supports clients in home health care to gain independence.
• Assists clients with transfers and mobility.
• Performs range of motion exercises.
• Prepares clients' day and helps them get to work, therapy, and appointments.
• Attends concerts, sporting events and other activities with clients.

Job responsibilities:

• Motivates and encourages clients who have an acquired brain injury to progress in the home environment as well as in the community
• Assists clients with activities of daily living
• Supports clients by preparing them for their day and assisting them getting to and from work, therapy, and other appointments
• Range of motion exercises
• Performs household services essential to home health care
• Attends concerts, sporting events and other entertainment activities with clients

Job requirements:
