Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management in Madisonville, KY is seeking compassionate CNAs to support residents in a warm, patient-centered environment. Full-time positions are available for day shifts, night shifts including weekends, and PRN roles.

You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, and monitor vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff while maintaining dignity and safety for all residents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating.
• Record and monitor vital signs, assist with transfers and mobility.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nurse manager promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed and follow care plans.
• Document observations and ensure resident comfort and safety.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred
