Job summary

Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) on a part-time, 32-hour weekly schedule. Join a mission-driven team committed to high-quality, respectful care for veterans and their families.

Requirements include active Maine CNA registry status, 1–2 years of long-term care experience preferred, strong teamwork, and good English communication skills. Basic computer skills are also needed.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry.
• 1-2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with residents, families, staff and coworkers.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication of care provided.
