Job summary

Maine Veterans' Homes is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) on a part-time basis (32 hours per week).

You will provide compassionate care to Veterans and their families, helping with daily activities, safety, and comfort while maintaining dignity and respect in a supportive team environment. Prior long-term care experience is welcome; active CNA registry is required; English communication is essential. Competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry.
• 1-2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with staff, residents and families.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to Veterans and their families.
• Assist with daily activities and support residents' well-being.

Requirements

• Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
