Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Jefferson Manor Rehab & Wellness Center, a 100-bed Kentucky facility, invites you to join us as a Certified Nursing Assistant. You will be part of a care-focused team delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

As a CNA, you perform direct resident care under licensed staff, assist with ADLs, and promote a safe, respectful environment. A KY CNA license and strong communication are required; part-time day shift with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
