Job summary

Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Kentucky is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts. You will attend to residents' daily needs, monitor vital signs, and assist the nursing staff under supervision.

The role requires at least one year of LTC CNA experience preferred, graduation from an accredited CNA program, and current state CNA certification. Benefits include a new wage scale, daily pay, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs; assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrate ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Salary: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour (Based on shift & experience)

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
