Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift in Jamestown, KY. You will attend to residents' daily needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating, while delivering compassionate care.

Qualified applicants have at least one year of CNA experience in long-term care, graduation from an accredited CNA program, and current CNA certification. The role offers a new wage scale, tuition reimbursement, PTO accrual, daily pay, and quarterly

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs, assist with lifting and transferring residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff; ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff; assist the nurse as directed.

Salary: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour (Based on shift & experience)

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
