What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Measure, document, and report vital signs according to care plans and clinical direction.
- Provide direct bedside patient support and assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Support daily clinical operations, including meal assistance, light patient care tasks, and room setup.
- Observe patient condition, behavior, and vital signs, promptly reporting changes or safety concerns to supervisory nursing staff.
- Provide compassionate, emotional, and social support while preserving patient dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
- Follow strict safety, emergency, and infection control protocols in fast-paced clinical environments.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely care documentation per facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital or rehabilitation facility experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients with physical mobility needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork in clinical care settings.
