Job summary

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our compassionate team. We offer full-time, part-time and per-diem opportunities with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new FT hires and competitive hourly pay.

Shifts run 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM, with evening and night differentials. We value dignity, comfort, and quality care for residents in a 150-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Jersey.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and promote dignity and comfort for residents.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Shifts: 7 AM–3 PM | 3 PM–11 PM | 11 PM–7 AM
PRN: Any 8-Hr Shift (1 Weekend/Month)
$20–$25/hr (+$2/hr if Benefits Waived - FT)
+$1.50 Evening / +$2 Night Differential

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
