Job summary

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Jersey is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Full-Time, Part-Time and Per-Diem roles. Earn a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new FT hires on day shift, with competitive $20-$25 per hour rates, plus $1.50 evening and $2 night differentials and daily pay options.

Full-Time, Part-Time & Per-Diem Opportunities Available!

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus (New FT Hires - 7 AM-3 PM!)

Shifts: 7 AM-3 PM | 3 PM-11 PM | 11 PM-7 AM

PRN: Any 8-Hr Shift (1 Weekend/Month)

$20-$25/hr (+$2/hr if Benefits Waived - FT)

+ $1.50 Evening / + $2 Night Differential

Responsibilities for CNAs

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
