Aviata at Lakeside Oaks in Dunedin, FL is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct resident care and support, work in a friendly team environment, and contribute to high-quality senior care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Florida CNA license is required or active certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide companionship and conversation to residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents and serving meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Provide companionship and conversation to residents
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Florida CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
