Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team at Aviata at Brooksville. As a CNA at our skilled nursing facility, you will deliver person-centered care to residents and work in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, ADL assistance, mobility support, meal service and companionship, with shifts including evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Florida CNA license required.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents in accordance with laws and standards.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents, serving and clean up.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.
