Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Active CNA certification required.
• Must have completed a state-approved CNA training program and examination.
• Certification documentation required upon application.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and individualized care plans.
• Demonstrate competency in caring for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia-related, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs (as applicable).
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Ensure residents are out of bed and mobilized per their care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment and promote resident comfort, dignity, and well-being.
• Follow direction from the Charge Nurse and actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, coworkers, and clinical and ancillary staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of resident care.
