River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities and services for our nursing home residents. Join our compassionate multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on enriching patients' lives daily.

Shifts available include FT/PT 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a; every other weekend required. Baylor Weekend Option: Friday, Saturday & Sunday with 36 hours worked paid for 40 hours.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active CNA certification with state exam completed.

Mansioni

• Care for residents with needs including bathing, dressing, hygiene per Care Plan.
• Provide nursing care per policies; ensure safety and well-being of residents.
• Work under the Charge Nurse and participate as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Ensure residents are out of bed according to the Care Plan.
• Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical staff in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents are maintained.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.

• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.

• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.

• Must be 18 years and older.

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.

• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
