Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team, providing routine daily care and assisting residents with activities of daily living in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in the applicable State; active license required.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; maintain current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients according to laws and Life Care standards.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Document care activities and communicate patient needs to the team.

Life Care Centers of America facilities operate as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that provide:

• Long term care for residents who require ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance
• Short term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
