Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The role involves delivering routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws and Life Care standards, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.

The position may be full-time with PRN options and offers benefits such as health coverage, retirement plan options, and continuing education support. CPR certification is required on hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program
• Currently licensed/registered as CNA in the applicable state
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification required on hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting
• Work on an interdisciplinary team with nursing, therapy and medical staff

• Long-term care for residents needing ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance
• Short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury
• Collaborative, interdisciplinary care, including nursing, therapy, and medical teams working together
• A diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post‑acute needs

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State‑approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
