Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our caring and supportive team in Emmetsburg, IA. CNAs will help residents with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and ensure safety and comfort throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an Iowa CNA certificate or completion from an accredited program and are dedicated to high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing/assisted living setting.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate or certificate of completion from an Iowa-accredited CNA program.
• As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you are on the front line of resident care and must provide daily living support.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and observation of changes in condition.
• Ensure a safe environment and maintain education/awareness of resident needs.
• Provide high-quality care to residents and support the Clinical Department.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
