Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate clinical team. The CNAs assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Qualified candidates will hold a State of Iowa CNA certification or a comparable CNA certificate. Prior CNA experience is preferred, and applicants may be considered for full-time or part-time shifts across first and second shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Iowa CNA certification or certificate of completion from Iowa accredited CNA program.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents and monitor condition changes.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the clinical team.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with daily routines.
• Support residents with dignity, comfort, and education as needed.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
