Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a friendly, supportive team in a Skilled Nursing setting. The facility offers a range of benefits and opportunities for growth.

CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor conditions, and ensure a safe environment while delivering compassionate care. Shifts available include 1st shift (6a-2p), 2nd shift (2p-10p), and 3rd shift (10p-6a), with fulltime, parttime, and PRN on-call options.

Qualifications

• Must have an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate or certificate of completion from an Iowa accredited CNA program.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents.
• Observe changes in resident conditions and report to the clinical team.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with resident mobility and daily routines.
• Contribute to education and ongoing learning within the clinical team.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
