Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Central MT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for seniors and individuals with illnesses in the Cut Bank/Shelby, MT area. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and nutrition, while working with a team of clinicians to support independent living.

The role offers one-on-one patient relationships, the ability to set your own schedule, online training, and a culture that values compassion and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
• Montana CNA Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for seniors and those with illnesses.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Collaborate with a team of home health nurses, aides and therapists.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide in-home care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease
• Help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Work with a team of home health nurses, aides and therapists

A few must-haves for Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Montana
• CPR certification
• Valid Montana driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
