Job summary

Bayberry Skilled Nursing and Healthcare Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a per diem shift (AM, PM & NOC). The role supports residents in a skilled nursing environment with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health unit.

Qualified candidates will hold California CNA certification, have at least 1 year of behavioral health experience in a secure setting, and demonstrate de-escalation and compassionate communication

Bayberry Skilled Nursing and Healthcare Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is a Skilled Nursing Facility with a secured STP Unit that specializes in the treatment of clients with psychiatric diagnoses. Our patients suffer varying degrees of physical ailments, and all have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness. Our facility provides a transition from acute-care psychiatric treatment to a residential setting. Qualifications:

• CA, Certified Nursing Assistant.
• 1 Year of Behavioral Health experience in a locked or secure setting.
• Knowledge and experience with de-escalation and redirection.
• Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
