Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

1. Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
2. Assist residents with grooming, quality of life, and self-care.
3. Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
4. Chart accurately and maintain records in a timely manner.
5. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth in the nursing home.

Qualifications

• Current, valid nursing assistant certification in Illinois.
• No abuse records.
• Ability to read, write, spell, and understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with residents and staff.
• English language proficiency.

Requirements

• Valid deemed nurse aide certification in Illinois.
• No abuse convictions.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience.
• Evening shift only (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).

Additional details: Bonus paid at 90 and 180 days of employment. Compensation: $15 - $21.50/hour.
