Position Summary

Under supervision from healthcare professionals, the CNA assists with daily operations, utilizing electronic medical records, and supports nursing staff in assessing and caring for patients, administering medications, documenting encounters, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in assessing physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
2. Help plan and implement treatment programs in collaboration with healthcare team members.
3. Administer medications and interventions as per physician instructions.
4. Document patient responses and communicate with supervisory staff and physicians.
5. Maintain cleanliness and order in work and living areas.
6. Support the healthcare team and assist physicians as needed.
7. Use resources for treatment and consultation.
8. Perform vital signs, change dressings, and provide emotional and physical comfort to patients.
9. Assist with activities of daily living, emphasizing therapeutic significance.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensure: Valid Nursing Assistant certification, current CPR certification.
• Education: Completion of an accredited nursing assistant certification program.
• Experience: 0-2 years preferred.
