Job summary

Bridgeway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Phenix City, Alabama, is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. Full-time position (PRN also considered) involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring residents, and ensuring comfort and safety in a busy long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Alabama CNA certification, has experience in long-term care or rehab, and excels in communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Alabama is required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and other health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration and feeding.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs.

Bridgeway Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team in Phenix City, Alabama. In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CNA Requirements
