Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Pickett Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care and support daily living activities. You will work under licensed nursing staff to maintain a compassionate and safe environment for residents.

Requirements include an active CNA certification, excellent communication, and strong teamwork. The role emphasizes adaptability, independence, and collaborative care within our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents according to policy.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope defined by state regulation and resident plan of care.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents and support rights within the care environment.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.

How You Will Make a Difference
Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference
