Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Cleveland, a 100-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, seeks dedicated CNAs to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will promote a compassionate environment, support ADLs, and help maintain dignity and comfort for residents.

Applicants must hold an active Nursing Assistant certification and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer service. A supportive benefits package accompanies this role in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification from the governing state.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed staff guidance.

• Capable of independent work with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment.
• Provide activities of daily living within scope of state regulation and plan of care.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents and respect resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
  
  

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
