Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for travel assignments in Butner, NC. You will perform direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
