Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to join our dedicated team and provide exceptional care to residents during the night shift (9:45pm–6:00am).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued CNA exam.
• Current valid Oklahoma CNA certification.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies and communicate with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist with feeding and ROM exercises.
• Provide personal care and comfort; assist ambulation and mobility.
• Record vitals and intake/output as directed.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team.

Essential Functionsof Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualificationsof Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
