Heritage Villa in Oklahoma is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to support residents with daily care and comfort. The role includes evenings, nights, and PRN shifts across our facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety, dignity, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued CNA exam.
• Oklahoma CNA certification required.
• Six months long-term care experience preferred.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies and communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, feeding, and incontinence care.
• Provide range of motion exercises and mobility support.
• Respond to signal lights and resident requests promptly.
• Document care provided and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with feeding and daily personal care for residents.
• Support residents to participate in activities and maintain comfort.
• Follow care plans and safety procedures at all times.

Available Shifts:

• Evenings- Monday - Friday; 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
• Nights- Monday - Friday; 10:30 pm - 6:30 am
• PRN

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
