Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center is hiring for Full-Time Certified Nurse Assistant positions. We offer two daytime/evening shifts. Immediate PTO accrual, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to 5,000 per year, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and more. As a CNA, you will assist residents with grooming, feeding, mobility and vital signs, and respond to signals promptly to ensure comfort and safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam to be eligible for CNA role.
• Active CNA certification in Oklahoma is required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Assists residents with ambulation and movement in wheelchairs.

Hiring for Full-Time Shifts:

• 2pm - 10pm, Monday through Friday

• 10pm-6am, Sunday through Thursday

• 6am-10pm, Saturday and Sunday. *Baylor Pay!*

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs

• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care

• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding

• Assists resident with range of motion exercises

• Provides for personal care and comfort

• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas

• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center

• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed

• Provides direct and indirect resident care services

• Meets the communication needs of resident and family

• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition

• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred

• Must pass a state-issued exam

• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
