Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Boca Raton, FL. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and providing compassionate care to support a short-term rehabilitation environment.

We welcome CNAs with FL certification, strong customer service, and the ability to work well independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA certification in the state of FL.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc…).
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc…
• Assure residents are kept dry to avoid breakdown. Bed bound residents need turned and positioned every couple hours.
• Obtain resident's current weight when instructed.
• Serve food trays to residents and documenting food/fluid intake and output in resident's medical record.
• Inventory and mark all residents possessions
• Make resident's beds and keep room neat and tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality with resident information.
• Assure resident privacy at all times.
