Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their dedicated team in a high-quality care setting. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining dignity, and ensuring safety through careful care and documentation.

Responsibilities include ADLs, hygiene, feeding, and charting intake/output, with emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess CNA License in the state of FL.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in long term care preferred.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc.).
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc.
• Keep residents dry to prevent breakdown; reposition bed-bound residents every couple hours.
• Obtain residents' current weight when instructed.
• Serve food trays and document intake/output in medical records.
• Inventory and mark residents' possessions; keep beds neat and rooms tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality and resident privacy at all times.

Today, under new ownership, we are creating an inimitable, revitalizing Rehabilitation Environment to provide the short term patient with a luxurious, five-star experience that meets and exceeds all expectations.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities Include:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc…)
• Assist residents with dental care, nail care, hair care, etc…
• Assure residents are kept dry to avoid breakdown. Bed bound residents need turned and positioned every couple hours.
• Obtain resident’s current weight when instructed.
• Serve food trays to residents and documenting food/fluid intake and output in resident’s medical record.
• Inventory and mark all residents possessions
• Make resident’s beds and keep room neat and tidy.
• Maintain confidentiality with resident information.
• Assure resident privacy at all times.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must possess CNA License in the state of FL.

Pay based on experience starting at $16/hr.
