Job summary

Premier at Perry Village in New Bloomfield, PA is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care in our nursing home. Join our multidisciplinary healthcare team and grow your skills while helping residents with daily activities, grooming, and wellness checks.

Rate is $22-25.03 per hour with PRN shifts, offering full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. Work location is in person at our Long Term Care facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and have completed a state approved training program.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents with needs including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Provide nursing care per policies and ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Follow directions of the Charge Nurse and collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming according to Care Plan.
• Ensure residents are out of bed as per Care Plan.
• Interact with residents, families, staff in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with established Care Plan.

• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive and calm manner.

• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
