Job summary

Cloverleaf Healthcare Center in Knightsville, IN is seeking a personable CNA to provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care setting. Earn $17–$20 per hour with a $1 shift differential for 2p-6a and varied day/night shifts.

In-person work with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility, and following the Care Plan; collaborating with the interdisciplinary team; and ensuring safety and well-being of residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must be 18 years and older.
• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neuro, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures safety and well-being of residents.
• Acts under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to the Care Plan.
• Ensures residents are out of bed per the Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and staff in a supportive, calm manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents are maintained.
• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
• Must be 18 years and older
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
