Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Bethesda, MD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will provide individualized resident care, support daily living activities, and document changes in health status with accuracy.

You will collaborate with licensed nurses to implement restorative programs, promote dignity and safety, and respond promptly to resident and family concerns while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification per state regulations.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
