Job summary

Valley Care and Rehab is a locally owned 35-bed skilled nursing facility in Barnesville, MN, seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team. We offer a small, supportive workplace focused on residents and families.

You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a positive, low-stress environment for seniors. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minnesota CNA certification required or can be sponsored for training.
• Caring demeanor, positive attitude, and TEAM outlook.
• Able to take direction and collaborate with lead nurse.
• Physical ability to perform personal care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, skin care and grooming.
• Assist with toileting, feeding, dressing and mobility.
• Monitor and record intake/output and ensure safety during transfers.
• Operate and use medical equipment safely (walkers, lifts, etc.).
• Support residents and report changes to nursing staff.

Role Details

64-72 hours/pay period - 8-hour shifts (6:00am-2:30pm) - Every other weekend, every other holiday

Skills And Qualifications

Role Responsibilities

Assist patients in the following areas:

• Personal care functions including:
• Bathing (bed, tub, shower, or sponge bath)
• Skin Care
• Toileting (bedpan, urinal, commode and/or toilet)
• Grooming (nailcare, shaving, hair)
• Oral Hygiene (denture care)
• Assist with dressing and undressing
• Assist with feeding of residents
• Measuring and recording intake and output
• Assist in turning and position of residents
• Proper transfer techniques
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment (walkers, Hoyer lift, etc)

Compensation

$20.50 - $22.60 /hour - DOE
