Visiting Angels Baytown is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors in Baytown and surrounding communities such as Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, Liberty, Crosby, Channelview. You will support daily living, mobility, meal prep, and transportation needs with dignity and respect.

We value caregivers who are reliable, patient, and committed to safety; training opportunities in dementia or Alzheimer’s care are available to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation.
• Clean Background.
• Must be willing to serve Baytown and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' assistance.
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
