Visiting Angels Tyler seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors across East Texas, including Jacksonville. You will support daily living, mobility, nutrition, and safety while pursuing ongoing training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Previous Caregiving Experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Vehicle with current Insurance required.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate with strong ethics.
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shopPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Requirements

• 2 Years Previous Caregiving Experience
• Valid Driver's License (ID Card only is not sufficient)
• Vehicle with current Insurance
