As a CNA Nurse Aide, you will assist with personal care, meal planning, mobility, and companionship while following individual care plans. Training in dementia/Alzheimer's care is provided to broaden skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Training in First Aid and emergency response is required.
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.
Compassion and desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
Assist clients with light physical activity or walks.
Plan and prepare meals with clients.
Handle light housekeeping duties.
Report health changes or unusual incidents.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
Support mobility and transport for appointments and errands.

Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
