Job summary

Huntsville Rehabilitation and Wellness in Huntsville, AL is seeking compassionate CNAs to join a dedicated care team. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health, and supporting recovery.

Full-time, 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) are offered, with opportunities to grow within the facility. Candidates should have active Alabama CNA certification and a willingness to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing on the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry.
• Long-term care or rehab experience preferred; new CNAs are welcome to apply
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment
• Observe and report changes in a resident’s condition to the charge nurse
• Document care accurately and on time
• Treat every resident with dignity, respect, and privacy, and follow resident rights
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Work as part of the care team with nurses, therapy, and other departments
