We are Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We are looking for caring & compassionate resident-minded individuals to join our team.
As a CNA, you will:
- Follow individualized care plans and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations regarding residents' needs and preferences.
- Attend to residents' needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and communication, in accordance with individual care requirements.
- Maintain skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
- Protect residents' personal belongings and promptly report missing items following established policies.
- Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, and assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
- Document care activities in accordance with department policies.
- Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
You Currently:
- Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
- Have the ability to obtain a CPR/BLS certification.
